  • Mission/Vision in Korea

For a period of five years, (1) We will share our Missionary Oblate Charism with the Korean Church in collaboration with the local clergy and in the enablement and formation of Laity. (2) We will work with the poor with their many faces: the marginalized, the abandoned, the migrants, the sick. (3) We will work for local vocations and their formation to face new frontiers, such as opening a North Korean mission. (4) We will concentrate on communication and acceptance of Mission members to develop a deep trust and a healing attitude among ourselves.

  • Mission/Vision in Japan

The Japan Vision is based upon the Mefu Mission Statement formulated in June 2007 by Oblates working in Japan..
The Vision places strong emphasis on the following: (1) a witnessing presence, (2) listening to the hearts and pulse of society, and (3) seeking especially the marginalized - The Migrants, The Youth, Social Problems and Advocacy.
